Private Horse Cremations & Cemeteries
The EPN has provided a listing of horse cremation companies, cemeteries and rendering companies that provide services to the horse community since 1996. We have led the way in providing this information to horse owners during a difficult time. The EPN does not charge a fee to companies for listing their information, nor do we charge owners for the information. The EPN is a non-profit horse welfare organization with no paid staff. If you are interested in supporting the EPN there are several ways you can assist. Donation Form

When contacting horse cremation companies and cemeteries you want to inquire if the crematory handles the entire horse, or if the horse must be dismembered to be cremated. When burying your horse at a cemetery, inquire about burial practices. Is the entire horse buried, or is as is the tradition in some circles, burial of the head, heart, hooves and tail. Owners can check with the IAOPCC and the Better Business Bureau if they have concerns regarding a company.

Finished blanket chests are available in oak or cherry. Special requests for other woods require an additional two weeks. A brass plate, (1.5" x 4" ) suitable for engraving three lines is given as gift from us to horse owners who choose full cremation. Plates may also be purchased from CR Cremations at their cost. |
