HoofPAC is the political action committee that has been formed to end the slaughter of America's horses. Cathleen Doyle, founder of HoofPAC, led the successful Save The Horses campaign in 1998 that made the slaughter of California's horses a felony.

Private Horse Cremations & Cemeteries
The EPN has provided a listing of horse cremation companies, cemeteries and rendering companies that provide services to the horse community since 1996. We have led the way in providing this information to horse owners during a difficult time. The EPN does not charge a fee to companies for listing their information, nor do we charge owners for the information. The EPN is a non-profit horse welfare organization with no paid staff. When contacting horse cremation companies and cemeteries you want to inquire if the crematory handles the entire horse, or if the horse must be dismembered to be cremated. When burying your horse at a cemetery, inquire about burial practices. Is the entire horse buried, or is as is the tradition in some circles, burial of the head, heart, hooves and tail. Owners can check with the IAOPCC and the Better Business Bureau if they have concerns regarding a company.
